Turkey Curry

CHICKEN CURRY

serves 10


8 C. cooked brown rice

1/4 C. olive oil

2 C. chopped onions

1 /2 C. chopped green pepper

6 C. cooked chicken, cubed

2 Tbs. flour 4 tsp. minced garlic

2 Tbs. curry powder

1 ½ tsp. salt

1 C. water

½ C. lemon juice

2 C. tomato sauce


Sauté onion and pepper until tender, add chicken. Mix flour, curry, and salt. Slowly stir in water  and juice to make a paste. Add tomato sauce and garlic; pour over chicken. Mix. Freeze in ziplock bag. To serve thaw, layer rice in 9 x 13 dish, then chicken mixture. Heat at 350° about 30 min.
